Building web3 apps for a living
The story so far
We are a group of young, ambitious folks from south-east Asia who love DeFi and are passionate about designing incredible apps and websites.
We are a part of a larger product design agency called Invisible Studios, headquartered in Mumbai, India that does large-scale commercial applications across various industries. DeFiant is Invisible's web3 arm.
A few years ago, during the crypto boom, we started getting a lot of clients for crypto/blockchain products and decided to build a portfolio around just those projects so a dedicated team can focus on learning and building web3 apps. That's how DeFiant was born, which is specialised in designing the new-age crypto apps.
Contrary to what you might think, DeFiant isn't just a new design agency that puts color into empty pixels. It has deep roots in end-to-end user experience, which does everything from ideation to front-end development, and is over 10 years old. Arun Pattnaik, the founder comes with a product design experience of over a decade in different industries.
We all thrive on learning something new every day and everyone is constantly trying on different hats. We are working with new technologies while rethinking an old industry and are excited about all the possibilities and opportunities to innovate. It's a problem deeply ingrained in traditional sectors like startups and the wider service industry but which has been compounded in the past five to ten years by the emergence of the mostly tech-powered alternate economy which has created a new generation of fintech.
